Chiropractic Care

Dr. Cheple explains to patients how the innate intelligence of the human body, using the nervous system, controls everything. When a misalignment occurs, also known as a subluxation, it creates interference in the nervous system, stopping the signals from getting to where they’re needed. A loss of function occurs, often accompanied by pain.

Using diagnostic tools such as the Surface EMG, which charts abnormal activity in a muscle, Dr. Cheple is able to see where the problems are, and how severe they are. This helps him narrow down exactly what the root cause of your problem is, to correct it at the source. We can achieve quicker and longer-lasting results for our patients.

Tools, Techniques, and Conditions

Using chiropractic adjustments, which directly affect muscle and bone structures, along with other therapies, we reduce your pain and restore function and greater mobility to the joints. Manual manipulation techniques, such as Diversified and Thompson Drop, are part of the Palmer Package of adjusting techniques. Dr. Cheple may also use the Pettibon System to help restore spinal function.

For those patients who cannot tolerate a lot of force, we use the IMPAC ArthroStim® adjusting tool. A much gentler method of adjusting, it’s also great for children and elderly patients.

Cold laser therapy, in some cases, may also be used to reduce inflammation and speed healing.

Chiropractic at Work

Dr. Cheple used to take care of a woman with cerebral palsy, who had a contest with a friend who also had cerebral palsy to see who was doing better. At the end of her care plan, she could finally sit up without having to be propped up. Her buddy, who was under medical care, continued taking drugs and having surgeries, and she was getting worse. Seeing the improvement in her case was very exciting.
